One of the skills I remember most about Erin was her creativity. I’ll always remember the “Good-Bye” video she made of her time teaching at PNU. The same skills that made this video so memorable (it was heartfelt, the music conveyed the right mood, great technical skills, etc…), she also displayed in the class room. Many times, I implemented some of the same ideas in my class to motivate and engage my students. I also appreciated Erin’s willingness to take initiative, both professionally and personally. Living in KSA can be challenging for some. A few times when an expat had an issue, Erin would research the matter and help her colleague come to a resolution. It was always appreciated. I have no doubt Erin will be a wonderful teacher or instructor where ever she chooses to go. She has taught children as well as young adults. She is culturally astute having lived in the Middle East, Asia and conducted training in the South Pacific. She has also traveled extensively throughout Europe and Africa.
