Chief Financial Officer
Current• Support the organization's mission by helping to execute growth and profitability plans.• Train Finance and other staff, raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.• Work with the CEO and COO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships. • Assist in the development and negotiation of key contracts, including compensation agreements, vendor agreements, real estate leases, major client engagements, and business acquisitions.• Work with the CEO/President/COO to ensure success through business analysis support, and compliance with all internal policy and contractual requirements.• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational capital and operating budgets.• Oversee all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and freelancers.• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization, and oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors.• Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs, and monitor banking activities of the organization.• Investigate cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting and retaining the industry's top talent.• Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations, financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management. • Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the organization.• Oversee Accounts Payable, Billing, and Accounts Receivable functions.• Oversee business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis.• Oversee the purchase and maintenance of all fixed asset inventory.
