As Deputy Chief for the Office of Business Assistance, I got to support the amazing people who deliver and coordinate numerous programs including the Ohio Export Assistance Section, the Ohio Small Business Development Center Network, the Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Centers, the Ohio International Trade Assistance Centers, and Manufacturing & Technology SBDCs.During my tenure, the Office of Business Assistance had a $10.9 million budget (general revenue funds, federal funds, and appropriation authority) and ranged in size between 12-19 staff members, with programs running across Ohio and in ten different countries around the world.

As Executive Director, worked to strategically steer the organization's impact on issues of concern to Hispanic Ohioans, connecting communities, and building the capacity of community organizations. Represent the organization while delivering cultural presentations, keynote addresses, and media communications; elected Chair of the National Director's Summit and provide counsel for Latino affairs agencies throughout 17 states. - Revitalized marketing and outreach initiatives through savvy communications and campaign management. - Launched innovative web technologies and designed a robust website to better connect communities. - Provided the leadership, trending, metric analysis, and policy/procedure setting necessary for realignment. - Defined vital mandates, prioritized objectives, aligned stakeholders, and garnered increased support. - Built coalitions and drove consensus, navigating between stakeholder interests to advance the agency's mission.

Multicultural Communications & Target Marketing As Publisher and Founder, conceptualized, developed, and produced an independent publication with the mission of serving as the best resource of local information for English and Spanish-speaking communities. Recruited top talent to partner with during this mission and guided business practices to ensure adherence to the organization's vision. Developed a comprehensive business plan, secured financial backing, and created the operational infrastructure from the ground up.
