Edna supports Government Partnerships at the local, state and federal levels for Out Teach. Out Teach transforms the way teachers and students bring science and STEM to life. This research based strategy helps educators succeed and inspire the next generation of innovators, leaders, and change makers. Students must have more than 18 minutes of science per day to make the needed links to STEM careers. EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:Edna transitioned from a career in commercial real estate to non-profit leadership to help narrow economic gaps at most our economically challenged schools. This intentional career change was made after:15 years Commercial Real Estate with a focus on land development and mixed-use leasing. Achieving the coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) national designation. 4 years serving as an elected official and 15 years serving on government boards.
