Handled Brand DKNY Jeans, Juicy Couture, Luck Brands, major products were women’s wool coats, shirt& dresses, denim jeans and woven bottoms. Materials including knit/woven cotton, polyester, wool, silk, washed denim, leather and etc. My role includes but not limited to:• Supplier selection: based on the styling and fabrication, select appropriate supplier for development;• Coordinate with central material team to develop fabric and trims, and get fabric / trims (label) approval and testing approval;• Product development: counter sample development and approval, cost negotiation and lock down;• Vendor negotiation: negotiate vendor on costing, MOQ/MCQ, production lead time and so on. • Order placement and execution: coordinate with ordering team to ensure accurate order placement, follow with suppliers / factories on production WIP, trouble shoot any blocks, work with cross-functional team such as Material, QA, Tech to get resolutions and ensure bulk shipment on time.• Maintain a healthy relationship with suppliers and achieved an average on-time shipment rate >93%.
