Elizabeth Quigley Email and Phone Number
I am a sustainability professional focused on empowering individuals and communities to tackle the challenges that face them at the local to global levels.I graduated from Arizona State University in 2023 with degrees in Supply Chain Management (B.S.) and Sustainability - International Development (B.A.). I have experience working with education, behavior change, and leadership for sustainable development and climate action from working with groups such as Turn it Around! Cards, The Rob & Melani Walton Sustainability Teachers' Academies, The Regional Center of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development Greater Phoenix, The Sustainability Alliance at ASU, Changemaker Central at ASU, United Nations Association at ASU, Fridays for Future USA, YOUNGO, Millennium Campus Networks, The SDG & Beyond Taskforce at ASU, and more. Most of my experiences have centered around working with the UN SDGs, with a focus on SDG 4: Quality education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 13: Climate Action. In my leadership roles, I have acquired skills in event, program, and project management through leading the development and execution of events, conferences, dialogues, panels, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and resource archives. Through these experiences, I have also gained valuable skills in organization and data management by documenting processes, metrics, and outcomes to reflect and improve upon. Additionally, I took on team leadership in these roles, which improved my ability to delegate tasks and provide mentorship to those I work with. Due to these experiences, I am an experienced public speaker, having been a panelist, moderator, facilitator, and speaker at various local and international events to share my perspective on youth and action in the sustainability, education, and climate movements. My passion is helping others create impact, and providing them with the skills, knowledge, resources, and guidance they need to solve the sustainability challenges facing themselves and their communities. After working with behavior change, education, and leadership for sustainability for four years, I have recognized that in order to create the changes necessary for a just, equitable, and sustainable present and future, we must create the systems and infrastructure necessary for creating these changes. Therefore, I am hoping to pursue further education and a career in planning and policy.
