I am currently employed in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Mechanical Technician I have grown my skills by working in the Airfield Support Bay, Vehicle Maintenance Bay, Lifting Tackle Bay and the Gas Bay. My latest position has been in the Vehicle maintenance bay where I maintained and pre inspected all the RAF Waddington’s Green Fleet vehicles which range from MAN SV, Land Rovers, CJS snowploughs, JCB/Dan forklift, Runway Sweeper and Refuel vehicles. During my time in the RAF, became Captain of the men’s Fencing team and successfully won four consecutive Tri Service Team Championships, I also won the individual RAF Master of Arms, Men’s Foil and Epee One Hit in 2021 and again in 2022. I have organised large fencing event the RAF Open which is a large scale and public event where I manged a team to deliver a fencing competition with over 250 national and international athletes, 20 referees, 25/30 volunteers and 5 technical team members.
