Ed manages environmental remediation projects at US Navy and Marine Corps facilities and provides expertise in hazardous waste management; remediation system design, installation and operation; hydrogeologic testing and modeling; materials testing; and regulatory compliance. Ed has extensive DoD experience, including completing over 50 environmental remediation tasks orders with AGVIQ for the Navy and Marine Corps, and 25 task orders under the Navy’s CLEAN program. He's also managed multiple RI-FS projects for the Army and Air Force. He recently completed an UXO Operational Range Clearance for the US Navy Dare County Bombing Range, NC, and the G-10 and K-2 ranges at Camp Lejeune, NC. His commercial experience ranges from assisting small petroleum and dry cleaner businesses with compliance and remediation needs, to supporting one of the East Coast’s largest metals reclamation and ship scrapping facilities with environmental, health and safety planning. State and municipal experience includes such diverse work as providing fast track due diligence services for large real estate transactions; site investigation, remediation, and permitting for leaking UST/AST facilities; and environmental site assessments for public use facilities and major transportation infrastructure projects such the Norfolk Light Rail Transit Project for the Hampton Roads Transit Authority. An indication of his effective service and client focus, Ed received letters of commendation from the USACE Omaha District and the USCG ISC Portsmouth, VA, as well as a Joint Certificate of Excellence from the DoD, USEPA, and NC DENR, for providing environmental support for a complex, multi-year effort at Pope Army Airfield, NC.
