I am a results oriented senior financial executive with more than 28 years of experience in higher education finance and administration. I have a strong record of achievement in policy development, financial reporting, budgeting, information systems development and management, facilities construction and management, and auxiliary enterprise management. I am an effective team-builder.I am the Vice Chancellor for Finance for the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission I lead financial and facilities policy development, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities for public higher education in West Virginia. I am responsible for the analysis and presentation of financial data for the Commission, Council for Community and Technical College Education, and governmental officials; coordination of the annual audit of public higher education; and the oversight of the Commission’s financial operations. In addition, I oversee public higher education facilities planning and budgeting. Prior to joining the Commission, I served as the Vice President for Administration and Finance at Shepherd University. I am a licensed CPA with a doctoral degree in educational leadership studies and a masters degree in business administration from West Virginia University. I received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University.
