While I held this position the application conversion rate nearly doubled previous rates.In my capacity as a product manager, it was my responsibility to ensure a clear set of product guidelines for each mortgage loan program. I also acted in a support role for account representatives, often attending trade shows or accompanying various representatives on sales calls to provide more detailed and nuanced answers to complex questions. Through effective communication, I was able to streamline the underwriting process through topical weekly meetings discussing guideline and regulatory changes to ensure a smooth loan process for our clients.While acting as Director of Secondary Market Sales, I was responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with end buyers of closed loans. I was also responsible for negotiating the purchase price of closed loans and ensuring that the loan products were in accordance with the end buyer's purchasing standards. During this period of my employment I was able to reduce loan purchase time, thereby decreasing the amount of time loans were on our warehouse line. This in turn reduced our per diem interest expenses. During each year of my tenure with this organization, my division far surpassed our annual goals.
