I currently work as a visual merchandiser for John Lewis.I am an experienced painter, graduating from AUB with a first-class bachelors of fine art. Since my time at university, I have learnt many skills in the industry such as the installation, compositions, canvas making, curating, developing my individual artistic skills and learning about a variety of different creative mediums.I am a creative individual that's hard-working, a team player, organised and approachable, all skills I have regularly demonstrated in my work and previous jobs as a technician, builder's assistant and bar work as well as university. A friend and I set up our own pop-up exhibition 'Watch This Space' each month. We organised groups of artists to come together in which we curated their work within a public space. After a few low budget exhibitions, 'Tonic social' (a fancy bar) agreed we can exhibit in their space. At the events, I gained retail experience selling the art.To fund my painting I took up a job as a labourer working for 'Randell's Property Maintenance' in which my experience and confidence with power tools and construction grew.Please don't hesitate to get in touch.
