As Senior Vice President and Chief Resource Officer, establishes, implements, and maintains a structure for resource stewardship throughout Mount Sinai as well as ensures appropriate value and equity—in terms of clinical, financial, or operating outcomes—for every dollar spent. As Vice President of Integrated Support Operations, provided leadership accountability for the enterprise Supply Chain, Food and Nutrition, Project Management, Facilities, Real Estate, Environmental Services, Laundry/Linen, Patient Transport, and Emerging Technology functions for MedStar Health. MedStar Health owns and operates ten hospitals (3638 beds) and a full continuum of non-acute services at over 300 sites throughout the state of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia including MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. The system had a FY21 budget of $5.6B of net operating revenue and $864M for expenditures for supplies and pharmaceuticals and $771M for purchased services. Reported to the System EVP/CAO.
