In the course of my 25+ year career in telecommunications I have worked in every aspect of the Business. I have run cable and managed projects. I have worked in Central Offices, Lab environments and in customer equipments rooms. I have been responsible for the introduction of new product from its inception. I have worked in service and business offices. I worked as an analyst for 13 Central offices. I was certified as a trainer. I have also been responsible for very high profile clients such as Stephen Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, Dreamworks SKG, CBS Studio Center and for an entire Hospital Facility at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills as well as Mayor Willie Brown's Office in San Francisco. My goal is to enhance my industry knowledge by learning about the timing aspects of an Ethernet world or to advance the availability of business Ethernet services to small business users.Specialties: I have a very high level of skill in interfacing with customers. I know how to work around high profile customers. I enjoy people. I have extremely good technical presentation skills. I have a acutely refined troubleshooting skill that comes from years of experience in the industry. Senior Sales EngineerTellabs 2004 - 2008I provided support to the NLEC Sales team in selling and delivering product for Frontier Communications and TDS Telecoms embedded base of AccessMax. I exceeded quota each year in that position for 4 straight years. I acheived successfully positioning two new products in the Frontier network and getting them their Product Approval Notification. Both of these products were Ethernet products. The first was an access device for small Enterprise Ethernet solutions up to 50 Megabits. The second was a large size Fiber to the Curb system targeted for the retrofitting of older NLC equipment. Beta Trials/Npi EngineerAdvanced Fibre Communications Jan 1999 - Jan 2002I was responsible for the trials required to take AccessMax software releases GA. I arranged test customers to trial Beta releases and installed the software/hardware required for certified release. During this time I was awarded a Sales Excellence award for supporting the SNET team in New England on Project ProntoI successfully achieved a company certificate as an AFC trainer.As an NPI I was responsible for the technical service and trialing of a brand new WDM product. This involved design aspects, Prototype testing in the factory in Australia, writing the service documents, establishing beta trial sites for approval of each feature on the product. In the course of this project I was required to design and build the test lab for the manufacturer in Sydney. I acquired equipment, staged, shipped and flew to Australia and then installed everything in time for Release 0 testing. I also was responsible for training the TAC personnel for support of the new product. -
