State Street Associates clients include: pharmaceutical companies; national trade associations representing the interests of biopharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing, coatings manufacturing, the spa and pool industry and a statewide trade association representing companies in the landscape; lawncare and light agriculture industries. Responsible for legislative matters, public relations and communications. I served as the top aide for the Senate Minority Conference Leader, Senator Martha Bark. Senator Bark relied on me to provide advice and input on legislative and budget issues.

Worked in conjunction with the Communications Director and Senior Staff to implement an earned media strategy for the Senate Republican Caucus. Acted as a liaison between State Senators and media representatives; served as Senators’ spokesperson; drafted and distributed press releases; and handled press calls on various issues.

Promoted from Field Services Officer. Implemented the Senate Majority Constituent Services marketing plan. Managed and trained a team of four Field Services Officers. The Constituent Services section was merged with the Communications section in January 2004.
