About Ed Watkinson

I am the Director of Watkinson Consulting and have established the business to give me the opportunity to share the knowledge, experience and understanding that I have gained over the last 25 years with people that need it. This experience includes being a care assistant, Registered Manager, area manager, care manager, care services inspector (NCSC and CSCI), national developer of inspection methodology (CSCI and CQC), strategic commissioner, regulator for large private care business and my most recent role was the Director of Care Quality for Quality Compliance systems (QCS). However, my focus with Watkinson-Consulting is the regulation and improvement of social care. This is done by assisting providers on whatever stage of their journey to prepare for their inspection and advising on what improvements they need to make to stand the best chance of receiving a favourable inspection. This can be through a one off intervention , or by developing a longer term partnership arrangement.I look forward to hearing form you to explore how Watkinson Consulting can help you achieve the results you deserve!
