I served in the US Navy for 23 years and retired as certified Marine Gas Turbine Inspector Master Chief. My military career consisted of operation and maintenance of 600 and 1200 psi propulsion plants. Qualified as Boiler Technician of the watch (BTOW). My Gas Turbine experience consisted of the management and operation of the of the propulsion and electrical plant on DD and DDG class ships. Obtained Engineering Officer of the Watch on both class ships. As a certified Marine Gas Turbine Inspector I was responsible for scheduled maintenance and safe operation of 13 Mayport Based ships. After leaving the military I was a Field Service Engineer. I ensured that OEM specification were achieved during overhauls of vessels in dry dock. I was responsible for troubleshooting issues on the controlled reversible pitch systems, making recommendations for repair. I also preformed maintenance and troubleshooting on the gas turbines for new construction vessels. Currently enrolled in school obtaining a BS degree in Project Management. Expected Grad date is Jan. 2018
