Ed Bartlett is a serial creative industries entrepreneur, with over 20 years of concurrent C-level experience founding, funding and growing cutting-edge brands across a diverse range of sectors.As founder of award-winning cycling apparel brand Kostüme, Bartlett has combined his passions for sustainability, cycling, art and fashion with a disruptive business model and a deep-seated desire to challenge the status quo. Kostüme's very first product scored a perfect 10 in Road.cc and the company has been highlighted as a top sustainable cycling brand by Cyclist Magazine, along with enviable customer satisfaction metrics.Prior to Kostüme, Bartlett founded The Future Tense in 2009 to offer hands-on support for emerging contemporary artists, pioneering the pop-up gallery approach and curating and producing innovative, high quality exhibitions, art-related events and special projects for both artists as well as brands like MTV and Grand Marnier. Through The Future Tense, Bartlett also co-founded and curated MTV RE:DEFINE, an annual art exhibition and benefit auction, which raised well over $10m to help the MTV Staying Alive Foundation combat the spread of HIV and AIDS.Bartlett is also a 15-year veteran of the video game industry, best known as the pioneer of in-game advertising. Having built a reputation for its bleeding-edge work with Red Bull, he sold his agency, Hive Partners in 2005 before co-founding IGA Worldwide.Having played an instrumental role in raising a $17 million Series A VC round in 2006, Bartlett went on to build the foundations of its industry-leading Radial Network, securing landmark exclusive global inventory deals with the likes of Electronic Arts, and building unique reach of over 30m consumers across the PlayStation 3 and PC platforms. As Vice President Europe, he was also responsible for all European operations, accounting for 50% of its global revenues.Bartlett was also a founding judge of the Courvoisier Future 500 network and is the award-winning author of lifestyle and travel books for Lonely Planet including 'Street Art' and 'The Vanlife Companion'.
