Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, I’ve always been driven by a passion for improving lives through science. My journey brought me to the U.S. where I pursued my dream of becoming a biomedical engineer to push the boundaries of medical technology to transform healthcare.Yet, as I explored the world of biomedical engineering and medicine, I realized my heart is drawn to the human side of healthcare. I realized that I want not only to innovate from behind the scenes but also to be on the front lines, face-to-face with the people I hope to help.Now, as I transition my focus toward medicine, I aspire to become a physician who goes beyond diagnosing and treating illnesses. I want to connect with patients on a personal level, understanding their stories, their struggles, and their unique journeys. My goal is to provide care that heals both body and spirit, empowering people to take charge of their well-being while being truly heard and understood.
