Offshore Lead Operator
CurrentDirectly supervise and assists crew with daily testing, repairs and maintenance of all equipment and safety devices. Ensure that all personnel are competent in performing daily functions, safe practices and environmental practices which are compliant with governmental agencies. Responsible for safety and safety record keeping on such items as safety meetings, emergency evacuation and response plan. Communicate daily operational needs effectively to both clients and personnel (written and verbal). Review production, operation and maintenance reports and schedules to ensure that timely and effective actions are taken to solve problems. Notifiy management personnel of complex production and maintenance issues that require corrective action.Enter production data into Dynacap and SempCheck. Responsible for equipment maintenance completed by less experienced personnel. Operates and monitors radio and telephone communications equipment as required for platform operations, logistics and reporting. Responsible for following safety procedures and maintaining safety data. Responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as basic first aid, CPR, fire drills and emergency evacuation.Required to reside at worksite on a predetermined work rotation schedule and other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 5-20 employees in various platform positions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Monitor & Analyze performance of process flow operations. Operate multi fluid process separating equipment. Operate, test, and repair safety shutdown devices BSEE Compliance paperwork and preparedness. PLC/SCADA/Microsoft word experience. Sub-Sea Well experience.
