I am a solutions architect & developer, with experience in the majority of top programming languages. Whilst at PixelMax, I architected and led the development of a highly scalable metaverse platform, which was used for virtual events, digital twinning, and hybrid working, utilising browser-based cloud gaming technology. This involved the development and integration of many complex components, to result in a high quality, accessible platform where users can collaborate and explore virtual 3D environments.I have experience in a wide spectrum of technical areas, including networking, infrastructure management, VR/AR/MR/XR, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, and software engineering.

Co-Founder & Chief Architect
I am responsible for defining our technology & product strategy at PixelMax. I oversee the technical teams (DevOps, IT, 3D/Game Development), including contributing to the architecture, development and infrastructure engineering required to build our products.I led the growth of our hybrid cloud and physical colocation infrastructure of HPC/GPU servers, leading to a 3 month ROI and improved performance compared with our previous usage on hyperscale clouds.

In this role, I grew and led our DevOps team from 1 to 9 developers.Based on our first beta event, we developed a SaaS virtual events platform and ran events with up to 3000 users, including for UEFA, CIPR, and Publicis Sapient.

I joined PixelMax to build a beta version of a virtual events platform. We launched the beta platform in July 2020, with around 100 people attending.Prior to the launch, I tested out various technologies to embed a 3D world within a web app, including HTML5 exports and WebGL. I successfully tested and integrated an early version of Unreal Engine's pixel streaming, which was used in the beta event, and became the basis of PixelMax's offering going forwards - offering high quality, browser-based virtual experiences.
