Utilizing unique tracking capabilities, ClipperData provides insights to global crude, products, petrochemical and gas cargo movements. In parallel, Eddie was also the regional representative for Ursa Space System - a global geospatial intelligence network service. Ursa Space is an innovative satellite data specialists that connects global satellite data into global intelligence to support important and timely commercial decisions.

Eddie Tan joined Straits Financial Services as Vice President, Derivatives Sales and Clearing. Straits Financial Services is a MAS licensed Capital Market Services provider headquartered in Singapore. Mr Tan's extensive experience and contacts in the Energy and Commodity market in the Asia Pacific and Middle East connects SFS's global clearing services to this important growth region.

Eddie Tan joined GlobalView as the Managing Director – Asia Pacific, Middle East responsible for sales and operations in this region. Mr Tan successfully developed and grew GlobalView's business into a leading Energy Information/database platform for the region. GlobalView was successfully bought out by Drilling Info Inc.

Eddie took over as General Manager of the construction material supplies company. Siong Hoe Metals was incorporated to trade and supply "cut-and-bend" reinforcement steel bars to construction projects in Singapore and Malaysia.

Mr Tan moved to the position of deputy Sales Director Asia-Pacific for Platts, a leading Energy information service after 2 years in Bloomberg. While at Platts, he successfully introduced the use of its real-time energy information throughout Asia building strong markets in Japan, Korea, China and India.
