For thirty years, I have launched companies and led high-performing teams in data networking, software, media and manufacturing ventures, raising over $1 billion, generating over $2.7B in revenue, and building organizations that today employ thousands of people. For more than a decade, Rational Resource has created value from waste. Long before “the cloud”, WAM!NET was hosting servers and apps on the world’s largest private data network and data services infrastructure. As Executive Producer of Watershed Entertainment, I helped bring a Minnesota-based independent film, Sweet Land, to the national awards stage. Today I enjoy advising companies in industries ranging from service/software platforms to material science.Throughout my career, I’ve been an active board member for nonprofit organizations including the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Citizens League of Minnesota, and others. My wife, a full-time artist, and I live in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area and share two wonderful sons. I’m an avid cyclist and yoga practitioner, and continually struggle to get through the many books cluttering my bedside and Audible library.
