I enjoy working in tax and business advisory having achieved many years’ experience as an accountant both in commerce and within a professional practice. I have been at ODV Accountants since 2003 and became a partner in 2010. I have worked across the many industry groups and enjoy Business Advice, Planning and problem solving for clients.I specialise in business start-ups, property, restructures and negotiation – helping clients to refocus and to get their business back on track. I enjoy, what I describe as, ‘corporatising small business’; bringing the key elements of a large business into a small business while maintaining core family values.Prior to ODV, I worked across a broad range of professional sectors including banking, energy and resources, property and local council. A collaborative approach to working with clients and other finance and legal professionals to ensure we provide relevant and practical information, which assists in building long-term business success and wealth by adopting a holistic approach. I hold a Master of Business (E-Business) (2002), Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) (1991) and a Graduate Diploma of Commerce (1998), all attained at the University of South Australia. I also completed the Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Program in 1997 and then attained my Public Practice Licence in 2010 and I was also admitted as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2021. I am also a member of the Australian Tax Institute and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) since 2012.
