It seems I lead double lives...by day:I am cardiac surgery specialty tech with the cardiac surgical team at Miami Childrens Hospital. I have been a surgical tech for 12 years, 9 of which have been at MCH, focusing on various specialties, including pediatric surgery and trauma. During the course of my career i have received extensive training from reputable companies such as Covidien (Clinical Champions Program) and received outstanding awards from the organization (Blue Chip Award for Excellence). My other duties include building and managing the social media network for the Heart Program. The 2 main projects include: The Pediatric Cardiology Knowledge Project and the MCH Cardiac Program Annual Reunion.
