Eddy Yang is a student cinematographer, film director and screenwriter known for grounded narratives and colourful visuals. His works are deeply personal stories livened by empathetic characters and explore topics of queerness, human connection and personal growth. He is a graduate of McGill University and is currently attending Humber College for Film and Television Production.Ella Ella (2022), his debut documentary short, is a Best Short LGBTQ Film winner at the Toronto Independent Film Festival of Cift and a Best Student Film winner at the Markham International Film Festival. Currently, he is developing his debut narrative short Between Hands (2024) and works as the Director of Photography for the short film Luty (2024), a film about the war in Ukraine."Eddy Yang is a visionary director whose commitment to perfection and attention to detail shines through every frame of his work.
