This role is critical to building the capability of all our colleagues. I manage and create core learning for all store roles as well as building the capability of store leaders through training, facilitation and coaching. I have ownership of the design of all ROI programmes and learning modules as well as providing support across the L&D function and to all Boots colleagues. Coach and partner the Regional Team to recruit, lead and develop store teams of Feel Good Specialists who maximize the customer experience through delivery of the company strategy and to build a robust Regional Pipeline of talent for key roles that will enable the business to deliver the company plan. I lead a team of Store Administrators who provide data analytics, observations and administrative support to the Area Managers to help them to quickly grasp opportunities to grow their businesses

I developed and drove the Resourcing portfolio for Colleague, Pharmacy, Leadership and Support office roles across the Republic of Ireland.- Diagnosed recruitment needs within the Division based on business growth initiatives, internal movement and external turnover. I developed creative resourcing solutions to attract and recruit the “Best People, Best Place, Best Time”, ensuring the delivery of No 1 for Customer and Patient Care. - Worked in collaboration with the HR Business Partner to collate information on the region building this data into the Reginal manpower plan to identify talent and aid succession. - Liaised with the training function to ensure talented colleagues are supported through effective training and development, in order to feed the talent pipeline and providing an internal career path. - Lead and inspired the Resourcing Team to ensure all resourcing activity was proactive and seamless across the Division. I coached hiring managers on the effective use of corporate recruitment tools ensuring smooth candidate care through our website www.boots.jobs. - I worked closely with the U.K.central resourcing teams to ensure our recruitment tools were fit for purpose, simpler for stores and deliver the best candidates. I feedback on process and tools to improve efficiency, drive simplicity and influence the development of resourcing initiatives. - Using MI and insights I drove consistency across the Division and ensured that everyone at every stage of the candidate journey is clear about the part they play in delivering legendary candidate care.

As the Professional Resourcing Manager for Ireland I was responsible for the recruitment of all the Pharmacists in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. I also managed our Summer Placement programmes, our Interns / Pre Reg's and our Newly qualified Pharmacists into the business.

Dublin

I was recruited in on a project to land the transformation of the recruitment process for the Republic of Ireland.

Following a Transfer of Undertakings by Debenhams I was instrumental in training the Roches Stores Colleagues in Debenhams policies and procedures and Training the Debenhams Management Team on Irish/Local agreements.

Starting as a Customer Assistant in 1983 i spent 23 great years within the company. Various Roles included Buyer of Fresh Food and Training Officer and supporting with new store openings.
