Woebot is a mental health app that uses cognitive behavioral therapy principles to help users through tough times. As a writer, I tinkered around in Woebot's brain and wrote interactive content to help it explain difficult concepts, be empathetic and responsive and entertaining, and provide useful tools for improving users' mental health.

After years of begging everyone I know to start a podcast with me, I finally got a yes. My co-host (a famous marine biologist) and I (a non-famous writer) pick the most boring, complex science topics we can think of and try to make them interesting and cool.
