After serving in various roles from squadron commander, group commander, wing and region emergency services training officer, and multiple positions over the past 47 years, it is time to return to where it all began for me. I look forward to assisting the local squadron in any way I can to see it grow and thrive in the post-pandemic world.

Encourage and guide our on-the-road, hazardous materials, transportation specialists to perform their tasks to their best potential. Monitor and ensure compliance with our company's safety policies, federal motor carrier standards, and safe industry practices to provide safe hazardous materials transportation in the United States. Perform the annual OSHA self-inspections and follow up on corrective actions, on our company's properties to assure a safe working environment for our co-workers.Conduct intake calls and internal reporting of accidents, spills, and other time-sensitive events while participating in our after-hours "on-call" program. Ensure commercial driver's license holders' compliance with the department of transportation's random drug and alcohol testing program.

Direct support of drivers to ensure the safe transportation of propane, butane, and other NGL products in the Eastern half of the United States. Assist the Director of Safety with a driver continuing education program, accident prevention program, on-scene support, and post-accident activities as required.

I assists the Wing Director of Emergency Services with managing and directing emergency services training activities. I am responsible for documenting training accomplished and qualifications earned for the organization's members. I coordinate with the staff officers to ensure that training programs are adequate. I also coordinate with external agencies for other emergency services training. Additionally, I am rated as an incident commander, level one, where I organize and command responses to a myriad of natural and man-made disasters.

I operate a tractor trailer pulling a tank hauling liquefied petrolum gas in western PA, MD and WV. I train drivers on the safe handling of mixed hydrocarbon gasses, situational awareness, and other safety related subjects.
