• Responsible for Hazardous Waste training for Waste Handling Group, refinery personnel, and all refinery contractors on proper waste handling procedures and requirements per refinery protocols, and State and Federal.
• Responsible for Environmental On-Call duties, including release reporting and emergency response support.
• Serve as DOT Coordinator for the refinery, supporting the safe compliant shipment and receipt of all hazardous materials.

• Completed workplace safety, hazard inspections, and performed continuous audits of all work and employee activities to ensure compliance with all necessary safety and refinery guidelines.
• Analyzed onsite incidents and instituted precautionary measures to reduce risk and severity of workplace injuries.
• Responsible for the management and execution of the training program for employees in various subjects including new hire orientation, 40 HAZWOPER and Refresher, Hazardous Waste compliance, Global Harmonizing Systems.
• Oversaw the safety of all KM Industrial employees while doing industrial cleaning and vacuum truck work contracted with Tesoro Golden Eagle Refinery and additional client sites as needed.
