Edgar currently heads Avanti Public Relations, previously he was the General Coordinator of Social Communication at the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) and at the Federal Telecommunications Commission (COFETEL). Prior to this Edgar was Corporate Director at Edelman México for three years and Senior Consultant for nine years at Zimat / Golin Harris. Edgar is an expert in Tec, corporate and political communication, working with clients such as AMIIF, ANIQ, Maypo, Metrogas, Wood Group, Minera México, ING, Valmex Casa de Bolsa, Sidek Situr, Pachuca Football Club, Kraft, UPS, The British Council, Minera San Xavier, The Mexican Supreme Court of Justice, UNAM, and SSA, amongst others.He has trained more than 1000 spokespersons for institutions such as IFT, CFE, The Ministry of Labour, VW, Pepsi, Coca Cola FEMSA, Bimbo, Gillette, BMV and Peñoles.Edgar has resolved business crises in many sectors between others: financial, energy, product and service sectors, as well as for governmental agencies.
