Hello,I am Eddy Cardona. I currently I work as a Service Manager at Gables residential and worked as a relief specialist at the May Institute’s National Autism center until January 2021.My career spans over 21 years of building maintenance service which includes service management, assistant service management, and maintenance of apartments, low and high rise buildings, building equipment such as A/C’s, boilers, heat pumps, chillers, electrical, carpentry, roofing, masonry, appliance repair, apartment maintenance, apartment make ready’s. I have also taught for approximately 7 years to children and adolescents. Educating autistic students on life skills within the ages 13- 21 from 1997 to 2002 and again in 2017 to January 2021 at the May Institute. I worked with the Boston Police in the maintenance department from 1999 to 2005; Sears from 2005 to 2006 as an appliance repair technician; Forestcity Residential from 2006 to 2017 as a building maintenance technician, and at Gables residential from 2017 to the present day as a building maintenance service manager, assistant service manager, and maintenance technician.My education includes high school diploma from Boston Technical School, certificates from Bay State School of technology in Domestic and Commercial HVAC and appliance repair, certificate in building maintenance from the Peterson School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Curry College in May 2019 with Magna Cum Laude honors. I am a member of the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society as well as a member of the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society.I am seeking to continue to work in management role.
