After 30 years in investment banking both in Italy and in the UK (with Citibank and Rothschild) and having successfully advised on more than 100 M&A transactions, in 2013 Edoardo decided to set up SPACE HOLDING, together with Sergio Erede, Gianni Mion, Carlo Pagliani and Roberto Italia: Space Holding listed 4 successful SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies) on the Milan Stock Exchange, investing totally more than €1bn: in 2015 Space (the first SPAC) completed its business combination with Fila, the world leader in the art&craft sector with a c€750m turnover; Space2 invested c€150m in Avio a world leader in the satellite launcher sector (c€340m turnover); Space 3 invested c€150m in Aquafil, a specialist in regenerated nylon fibers (c€700m turnover). Space4 - which raised €500m in December 2017 - invested in Guala Closures the absolute world leader in the production of safety closures for the spirts and wine sectors (c€850m turnover).In 2018, SPACE HOLDING started Space Capital Club, a platform for Club Deal, which raised €200m from 35 investors and completed 2 investments: in Adler Ortho a leader in the bio-medical sector (c€60mil turnover) and in BGG-Bruno Generators group (c€180mil turnover).In 2023 he started Space Capital Advisors to launch Arca Space Capital, Space' first private Equity Fund, which has already completed its first investment in Rina-Registro Navale Italiano.
