With over 20 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurship, I oversee the strategic direction of our family business, ensuring sustainable growth and successful ventures across sectors.My journey in business began with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), Brazil, in 2001. This technical background provided a solid foundation for my career. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I pursued two MBAs: one in Business Administration from IAG - Escola de Negócios da PUC-Rio, Brazil, completed in 2003, and another in Entrepreneurship from Babson College - Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business in Boston, USA, completed in 2010. This unique blend of local and international education has allowed me to approach business challenges with a global perspective.In 2019, I completed a course in Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education, where I delved into key digital technologies like A.I., Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity. This course further enhanced my interest in Bitcoin and related open source decentralized permissionless network technologies, leading me to become a Bitcoin enthusiast and studious. I have since dedicated time to understanding the fundamentals of Bitcoin, digital commodity, digital payments, proof of work (PoW), the groundbreaking concept of digital scarcity, and how they will shape the future of finance, business, energy, and social dynamics.Throughout my career, I have been committed to building and managing successful businesses while ensuring a positive impact on the community through our philanthropic initiatives.
