As a Deputy Chief of Party in an USAID-funded project (Partnership for Innovation), I've accomplished the task of establishing four Business Innovation Centers (BICs) in Banja Luka, Tuzla, Sarajevo and Mostar - entrepreneurial, customer-oriented, and market-savvy service providers of value-added services that enhance the ability of SMEs and young market entrants to use information and communication technologies (ICTs) to strengthen their competitiveness.Conceived, designed and implemented an innovative internship program for high school and university students covering theoretical introduction and practical exercises, followed by project teamwork in heterogeneous teams, executed during each semester in BICs in partnership with local ICT companies, schools and universities.
