CurrentEd Schwarz, broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Benchmark (CBCB), has worked in this field as an owner and developer of commercial real estate since 1982. As an owner and Broker of CBCB, Ed is responsible for the recruitment, retention and management of skilled commercial real estate brokers in the leasing, selling, and property management functions of all spectrums of commercial real estate services. As an owner of a portfolio of office, flex space and industrial properties, Ed overseas the entire leasing and sales process from the execution of marketing strategies, staying abreast of comparable properties, maximizing occupancy, and assisting in space planning and tenant improvements.Ed has a extensive knowledge and understanding of the development process and is well versed in all aspects of government regulations and procedures that pertain to real estate development. His development experience covers many property types and classes from development of residential lots, professional office space, flex space warehousing, restaurant development, residential condominium projects, and apartment development. With these developed properties, Ed serves as a managing partner, investor and/or group investment sponsor from the acquisition of the asset to final close out or retained ownership.
