My role as a geophysicist at Microseismic Inc., was focused on evaluating the success of hydraulic fracturing operations by processing and analyzing microseismic event images and interpreting the fractures indicated by the event clouds. A distinguishing factor about my contribution is my ability to work with the engineering team to evaluate success of the frac from a multi-disciplinary point of view. Through this role I have become intimately familiar with hydraulic fracturing operations and how their success varies based on frac design and reservoir.My major contribution is the successful end-to-end delivery of microseismic products in major unconventional plays on U.S. land and Argentina. Some other minor contributions are: training employees during onboarding, scripting and development, technical sales presentations, and efforts to positively develop our company culture.
