Responsible of Manufacturing Engineering, Production & Maintenance areas. Position covers: answer quotes from customer (engineering changes), coordinate entire process development, coordination of machinery/equipment transference, quoting and placing PO’s for tooling/machinery, attending program revisions with customer and suppliers (including timings and engineering changes), all this following APQP methodology. Program started with team of two Engineers and six technicians. Principal manufacturing process involved on this Carrier is machining of casting nodular iron on two automatic Cells of Machine Centers Makino A88, having cycle times of approximately half hour, handling a part of 70 kg of weight.Manufacturing Superintendent-Area Manager From Mar/2005 Manufacturing Superintend of Propshaft area, but by Nov/2007, during the transition from ACH to Linamar, two production lines (R&P and Forged Rack) were added to coordinate, receiving position as Area Manager, responsible of entire operation. This position did include: finalize launch of DCX’s/GM programs (JNAP/CAMI/Spring Hill Plants as Tier I, Woodbridge and ACH Indy Plant), entire coordination of engineering changes, new models, process changes, PPAP/PSW process.
