In 2018, I was directed to review and provide recommendation on Python. I studied Python as a program language and provided recommendations to the Board in 2019. I recommended to School to have Python for Data Science and Java for the Enterprise. On 4/23/2021, I clarified the use of Python for Data Science, and Data Science, as a BCC Program, a set of 12 undergraduate courses under the umbrella of Data Science.My interest is to “integrate” Math, Computer Science, Medical Sciences and Engineering, Calculus, Statistics and Probability with Biology, Biomedicine, and target Python towards Data Science. My goal is for me, with the students, to be able to come up with computer science applications to include other fields such as Medical Sciences, Biology, Biomedicine, Physics, Statistics, Probability, Calculus.In 2019, I, with two Biology and one Math student, developed a Statistics Application with Java, using the Linear Regression Algorithm to “Predict Fluctuations in the Stock Market”. We created a predictable model; used the model to predict Yi ’ = b.Xi + A + Ei. We couldn’t finish the project.In 2020, I, with half of the students, developed a Biology Application with Python, “Translate a DNA Sequence into Proteins and Amino Acids”. Worked in two projects, the GFP-CPE OVO and the CUC-P U2L conversion into the cloud.Legacy platforms will be converted from current servers to Linux/x86 to VMware VM-base platforms.Goal: to achieve a 1 to 4 reduction for the physical server foot print in the GCSC Work Center.I took a 3-day AT&T Cloud Computing & API Boot Camp course in March, 2013.
