I wrote various winbatch programs to help sort out processed checks (personal, business, etc.) for various smaller banks like Rio Bank, Elsa State Bank, etc. These program that I created would sort the checks out and properly store the information on the database. This was done manually. So with the creating of these winbatch programs it drastically improved the sorting and storing of information. And also reduced possible human error.

Gas meter readings: Created a program that would replace manual form input. Technicians would go out on the field and look at meter readings throughout the city and would write down the reading onto a form. All of the forms would then be taken back to the main office and a clerk would take the information on the forms and enter it manually into the systems database. The program that I created would let the technicians do that automatically from the laptops that they already had.
