I write articles on clinical education, training methods, and student management. My most recent work has been with Clinical Lab Manager magazine.

- Organized guest speakers from different areas of the Medical Laboratory profession to speak at the college- Organized social events to strengthen the student community of Medical Laboratory program students- Organized a Mental Health Space dedicated to promoting mental wellness for Medical Laboratory program students; this was with the help of a Mental Health Awareness Grant from CSMLS- Held monthly Canadian Blood Services recruitment booths to increase local blood donors- Planned and maintained a bulletin board of club events and Mental Health promotion- Applied for grants to improve the program and school; Mental Health Awareness Grant ($250) and grant for a new microscope for students ($3000)

- Created a training program for over 30 staff in the aquatic department that consisted of 10 instructional videos, worksheets for the 4 different aquatic safety programs, and a multi-day training session.- Maintained operational standards for water quality and chemistry, municipal and provincial safety requirements, and facility programming. - Responsible for the safety and compliance of over 200 patrons and up to 10 staff during peak hours of operation.- Performed first aid and CPR with a team in high-pressure situations and followed-up with appropriate emergency procedures and incident reports.
