Business Separation Program of Work.Titles Queensland is demerging its business enterprise from the State Government. As part of my Project Management consulting work, I have been tasked with assisting the organisation in separating its IT platforms, Applications, Security and other Operational Services and Systems from the State Government so as to allow the business to operate on its own.

Defence Portfolio - DSE Remediation Program of Work

Engaged on the demerger of MLC from NAB Project. The aim of the demerger is to establish foundation infrastructure and services to allow for Business Applications used by MLC users to be established or migrated from NAB On/Off Premise Hosting to MLC On/Off Premise Infrastructure over a 2-year project lifecycle. Thereby establish MLC as its own business entity running of its own IT Infrastructure and services and demerged from NAB.I was involved with the scoping of requirements for the On Premise Hosting (Private Cloud) solution for the hosting of business critical user applications to be used by the MLC Business Entity.

Project Managing Asset Refresh project delivery to Corporate and Government clients.Engaged on projects looking after projects within the Strategic Account Maintenance Program of work. That is, I am currently PMing projects that include refreshing Network, Firewall Infrastructure and Performance Monitoring platforms which are nearing End-of-Life or End-of-Support with the vendors and require to be modernized to current industry best standards.I am currently working across four Corporate and Government Client accounts which includes, CBA, Westpac, TABCORP and Department of Human Services (DHS).Project Managing the following projects:- CBA Firewall Infrastructure Refresh Project- CBA Infovista Monitoring Platform Upgrade Project- CBA IOM Solarwinds Project- TABCORP CMI Upgrade Project- TABCORP Firewall Migration Project- DHS CID Relocation Project - DHS Solarwinds Upgrade Project- Westpac IOM Solarwinds Uplift Project- Westpac WTSA II IOM Solarwinds Project - Westpac Enterprise Storage and Backup Upgrade Project

Project management of the PSN 2.0 Network Core upgrade project across five (5) data centers.With this role I have been engaged by PSBA to manage a technology refresh program of work to upgrade their Legacy Network from PSN 1.0 to PSN2.0 which is an upgrade to their CORE Networking environment to latest technology (Juniper MX's and Cisco N9K's), with the introduction of Cisco ACI, Hyperflex and ISE within the technology stack for their end clients and business users.

With this role I have been engaged by HPE to manage a number of projects for their client Origin Energy delivering Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, NaaS,PaaS, and SaaS) to their Corporate, APLNG, Energy Markets business areas across the country.Projects I have been involved in managing include:• SQL and Oracle DB migrations from legacy infrastructure to Managed Cloud infrastructure• PC fleet refresh and replacement of end of life PC’s/laptops• Printer fleet refresh and replacement with HP Managed Printers, • (IaaS, NaaS, PaaS and SaaS) Servers fleet refresh, upgrades, migration and decommissioning of end of life servers• (IaaS, NaaS, PaaS and SaaS) SAN infrastructure upgrades, data migration and capacity increases• (IaaS, NaaS, PaaS and SaaS) Backup infrastructure upgrades, migration and capacity increases.• Office relocations between old and new facilitiesRecently I have project managed a number of concurrent large Storage and Server infrastructure Projects, Software and Database migration project between existing legacy Customer Data Cente's and new Managed Cloud Infrastructure Solution. Provisioning of new IaaS and PaaS capacity requirements for the business to use as it grows its data and storage requirements. The customer was extensively involved with User Acceptance Testing upon completion of relevant upgrades and migrations to confirm no impacts to business have been realised.I also liaise with third parties such as cabling contractors and telecoms providers such as Telstra to provision new infrastructure to the targeted customer sites and data centre connectivity requirements.

This is a contract engagement to get a project that was in significant trouble (Red flags with time, budget and quality of deliverables) of failing to meet the projects objectives and target timelines back on track.Project Management delivery and migration of two legacy data centres, including carrier services, networks (WAN/LAN/VoIP), Server farm, VMWare, EMC SAN, SAP, ERP, BI, DW, MSOffice application migration, optic fibre connectivity between data centres and customer offices and premises. Closing down of an old Data Centre and building a new Private Cloud Data Centre.Migration of all services, systems and tools to an IaaS, SaaS environment managed and supported by Fujitsu.This includes migrations of ERP systems, SAP, BI, Data warehouse, Storage, Virtual Servers and associated applications utilised by the customer.Significant stakeholder and end user engagement in planning and implementing migration events and communications to stakeholder groups during migration implementations.Modernisation of IaaS infrastructure to industry best practices to provide appropriate functional requirements and capacity needs for growth of the businesses capabilities.

I have been engaged to project manage a number of business initiatives including:1) Data Centre Relocation Project: Relocation of the exisitng Data Centre off premises to a purpose built data facility. This includes the build and commissioning of new Infrastructure (Network, Security, firewalls, Servers, SAN, VM's, Carrier services) and all associated product systems, services and tools utilised by the organisation. A second Data Centre is currently in planning and design phase and be utilised as the DR or back up Data Centre facility. All existing infrastructure currently held at the businesses original data centre at its main CBD facility will be decommission and/or relocated to the second purpose built data centre facility.2) IBM Rational Suite Project: This projects initiative will assist the business to conduct more informed business planning and alignment for IT investments. Accelerate the introduction of innovative and highly intelligent products that meet market demands while reducing the complexities of requirements and design. Application lifecycle management to manage the flow of people, process and information across the software and systems delivery lifecycle from initial concept through to deployment, and post-delivery support. Agile software delivery to provide visibility and collaboration of distributed agile teams and increasingly complex software across the delivery lifecycle.3) IBM Datastage 8.7 Upgrade: Upgrade existing V6.0 to current industry standard 8.7. The goal of IBM InfoSphere DataStage initiative is to address business demands for increased flexibility in handling data transformations as well as maximize their investment in parallel database systems.solution supports the collection, integration and transformation of large volumes of data, with data structures ranging from simple to highly complex. IBM InfoSphere DataStage solution manages data arriving in real-time as well as data received on a periodic or scheduled basis.

Project Management and completion of two new Data Centre builds and migration of Server/SAN, and application farms to the new data centres.I am also working on a number of other project initiatives including:- Citrix Infrastructure and Application delivery platform upgrade. Improving end user delivery, usage and infrastructure performance capabilities.- Video Telephony and Video Conferencing across metropolitan and regional facilities. This is a technology enhancement and cost reduction initiative.

Project Management delivery of IT&T initiatives to improving and enhancing the future capabilities of the organization’s IT&T initiatives and portfolio of projects.I am currently project managing the following software system project initiatives: • Oracle Enterprise Service Bus – which will improve the organizations ability to integrate software systems and tools with minimal operational disruption and allow for seamless integration of additional software systems and too to provide performance capability improvements of the IT&T platforms and systems environments utilised by the organisation.• Airport Operational Database/Flight Information Display System/Resource Management System Upgrade – this initiative will replace an incumbent Aeronautical Operating System which has limited capabilities for the future growth requirements of the business and the Airport operations systems. The new solution to be delivered will be an integrated system that will enabled the organization to obtain operational efficiencies and allow for additional enhancements to the Airports operational performance and management capabilities in the day to day operational environments of the airport terminal facilities and airport precinct.
