I hope this promotion brings all kinds of new challenges and opportunities for me to represent Lithuania at the biggest Young lawyers association in the World! The aim is to create new academic and networking possibilities for Lithuanian Young Bar Association members and law society. The voting right at AIJA’s Executive Committee will allow me to have some impact on AIJA’s future as well as to invite young professionals from around the world 🌎 to Lithuania 🇱🇹 or Lithuanians to be more visible at international events.

Drafting pharma, IP, R&D, distribution, sale-purchase, real estate, copyright and other contracts. Other daily activities, including employment legal matters, drafting of the corporate documents, solving reimbursement, marketing authorization, parallel import, compliance and other problems. Involvement in business as external:- Locally: a member of Grants & Donations, Tenders and Compliance committees and Local Integration group (responsible for the management of legal matters in the Baltics);- On EU / Global level: a member of the EU Unfair Competition and Legal Academy groups. Exclusive experience on large projects: - managing all legal questions in the Baltics re the acquisition of Actavis Generics business from Allergan group (worldwide approx. USD 41 billion); - taking care on the legal matters on one of the biggest pharma plant's and R&D construction works and expansion in Lithuania; - performance and control of the legal due dilligence and a multi-million sale-purchase deals of the previous offices and R&D premises; - negotiations and drafting of the lease contracts of the company’s new offices in LT, LV and EE; - implementation of Global compliance and anti-corruption rules in the Baltics, monitoring of compliance and unfair competition practises; - negotiations with EC and LT Business Support Agency on EU support projects for the expansion of the Plant and R&D facilities in Lithuania in the amount of EUR 5 mln.; - participation during the legal audits, which allowed to launch drugs in USA, Japan and other markets; - settlement of disputes with the contractors and sub-contractors; - management of cases re termination of the wholesale agreement, claims regarding IP / patent rights; - implementation of GDPR, disclosure and other mandatory rules into the contracts and pan-Baltic policies; - involvement in mass-layoffs and business restructurization process;- supervising other external lawyers.

As an attorney-at-law, responsible for 3 Baltic countries, I am actively involved in the GDPR, Grants & Donations and Compliance Committees, which monitor and manage the most important decisions in the company in order to ensure the highest compliance. Teva Baltics is a Teva group company, therefore it's highly important to ensure a proper implementation of compliance programs, which correspond to local laws and foreign requirements, such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA").

From time to time I am invited by the private and publiccompanies to give the lectures on various legal questions, such as contract drafting, biobanks, data protection in e-health system, unfair competition, advertisment restrictions and strictly regulated law spheres (alcohol, tobacco and gambling).

AIJA is the biggest, oldest and most exclusive association for the young lawyers from all over the world. I was responsible for representation of Lithuania and its members, spread of the information of various legal events and local implementation of the association decisions. I started as the trainee at Raidla, Lejens & Norcous and after 3 months was chosen to work in the Real Estate Law group, lead by the attorney-at-law Ausra Mudenaite, who was named as the best real estate lawyer in Lithuania.During this period I had a chance to consult the creators of the new law on construction and a new law on land of the Republic of Lithuania, work on a few legal due diligence projects and many contracts.

Maintaining the webpages of the company, creating the sales campaings for a 4 stars hotel and a real estate agency, working with real estate matters (drafting the contracts, selling the property).
