I am seeking a remote position (preferred) that matches my most recent position as an Outbound Planner or skillset detailed in my resume. My most recent position was an Outbound Planner with Columbian Logistics Network / General Mills. I valued the position, company, and people I worked with for almost 2 years, however due to a promotion my wife received we had to relocate from Wisconsin to San Francisco, California causing me to regretfully terminate my position with Columbian Logistics Network, as they were not able to accommodate me working remotely in this role. Additional I have 40 years of experience in logistics, 21 years of experience in supervision and 7 years of higher education. I am also an Honorable Discharged Army Veteran. In the Army, my military occupational skills were Human Resources/Personal Administration and Ammunition Supply. As an employee for Officemax, I consistently received outstanding ratings on my performance reviews. I have also played a key role with safety by holding employees accountable for maintaining good safety habits. I helped to improve operational standards and procedures using tools such as 5S, Lean and Kaizan. My dependability can be quantified with my record of great attendance. While working full-time, I also attended college full-time and achieved an academic award and made the Dean’s list four times.
