As a freelance Opera soloist, Mr. Albert has portrayed more than eighty roles on three continents. Acclaimed for both comic and dramatic parts, his U.S. credits include Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, The Academy of Music, The Kimmel Center and all five theaters of The Kennedy Center, War Memorial Opera House - San FranciscoAs a concert soloist, he has performed works spanning four centuries, including the major works of Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Brahms and Fauré. In competitions, Mr. Albert has been awarded prizes by the Metropolitan Opera National Council, the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation, and San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program; and Luciano Pavarotti personally selected Mr. Albert as a world finalist in the international competition named for this esteemed tenor.
