Building on the role of Technical Sales & Development Manager, I have taken additional responsibility for marketing for our cluster of blow moulding manufacturing sites.These responsibilities include overseeing marketing budget, instigating and managing marketing actions and initiatives and providing sales support through the production of relevant, well executed marketing material.

Responsible for new product development for blow moulded products. In this role I identify and manage projects for new and customised products and applications, working with development teams at various European manufacturing facilities. Product Designer for a world leading plastics design and engineering company, Berry Global Inc. (Previously at RPC Group whom Berry Global, Inc. acquired in July 2019). Managing multiple projects simultaneously, I am responsible for interpreting and answering customer briefs and producing effective, creative solutions to design requirements. This is done through descriptive freehand sketching, developing concepts through CAD (primarily SolidWorks) and hand modelling/3D printed rapid prototyping before presenting complete, ready to manufacture solutions to customers. The role also involves the production and control of engineering drawings for products as they progress through the manufacturing chain to final production.This roles focus is on design for plastics manufacture, particularly (but not limited to) injection moulding, blow moulding and thermoforming. The role has also involved the design and development of consumer furniture, delivering successful products designed using timber made from recycled commercial plastic waste.In November 2017 I was honoured to receive the 'Rising Star' Award at the UK Packaging Industry awards. This is a nation-wide award to recognise those who have made a positive impact to the industry within the first five years of their professional career.
