Through good design we can create places where people thrive and live in harmony with nature. I am a creative and ambitious structural engineer with a passion for structural form and architecture. I am a strong advocate for the protection of the environment and living in harmony with nature. Following permaculture principles, I practice observing and respecting natural systems through the design of our built environment. I have extensive experience in construction and consultancy, working on a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, seismic and industrial structures. I am a people person, and my strengths in communication, project management and client relationships have proven central to my work style and ability to deliver large and complex projects. I ask why, and choose to work with people and projects which focus on ethical outcomes for all parties involved and for the environment.Together with my MEng in Structural Engineering with Architectural studies, I have also gained experience and insight through extensive work and travel through Europe, North and South America. I also uphold a personal passion for low energy architecture, earth buildings, community building and sustainable development. I organise music and cultural events to bring our community together through the arts. I am also a passionate oil painter. I believe this well rounded skillset and network keep my ideas and pathways open for the betterment of our world.
