Perform duties as a UAS Operator: Ensures proper flight plan submission prior to mission, ensure Aircraft Operator and Payload Operator planning requirements are completed. Participates in Crew Mission Briefing. Operates the mission planning system, perform software loading and configuration and build mission payload plans. Performs preflight inspections are completed and all required forms/documents are completed and filled out with appropriate information. Completes engine starts and system checks. Responsible for radio communications, including tuning radios and monitoring frequencies. Performs launch and post-launch procedures and coordinate with ground crew during the launch process. Operates aircraft to meet way points, time-on/over-target requirements, adjust for winds and other environmental factors. Monitor all flight control indicators. Performs fuel management procedures to determine necessary fuel requirements. Performs flight utilizing automatic flight modes. Performs all emergency procedures as required. - Answer 911 emergency and non-emergency calls and effectively and efficiently obtain critical information to classify and prioritize calls to establish and coordinate the proper public safety response.- Obtain pertinent information from incoming calls in a prompt and courteous manner.
