Production Technician
CurrentROBOTIC:•Robot Programming•Mic welding•Ensure that welding is in line with customer specifications•Sign off weld macro report•Ensure weld machine weld parameters are always inspect•Maintain Robotic equipment•Train and Evaluate new and existing welders PLC ProgrammingPRODUCTION:•Control production team •Responsible for quality of the product•Handling of parts worth R1.2million daily•Ensure that hourly targets are constantly met•Ensure continually scrap reductionOTHER:•Maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental program for the company Investigate incidents related to Health, Safety and Environmental aspect•Ensure that all activities comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.•Attend to Pro-active projects, change-over and preventative maintenance job card allocated.•Perform assigned maintenance inspection and procedures on equipment. •Planned maintenance is conducted in accordance with operational schedules•Assist planning with new projects•Predictive Maintenance•Control Critical Spares•Control Consumable Spares (Electrical)•Knowledge of business policies, procedures and processes•Manages performance of employees •Provide assistance to error proofing processes through 8D problem solving •Prepares contracts and initiate, review and coordinate modifications to contract specifications and plans throughout the installation of equipment process•Reviews installation of equipment areas to observe conditions impacting design and to identify solutions to technical design problems involving electrical systems equipment that arise during installation•Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
