I grew up on three industries heavily influencing my life: sports, technology, and gaming. I always enjoyed watching players like Michael Jordan, John Lynch, Ken Griffey Jr., Shaquille O'Neal, and many other legends compete at a high level. Technology always gave me an inquisitive mind and a want to understand how everything works. I would regularly take things apart to see the pieces, sometimes struggling to know how to put it back together. Video games fully opened my world in story-telling and the amazing work people can make with their minds and hands.I mention these industries to point out that their influence plus the 10+ years of work experience pointed where I want to be involved the most. I want to use the competitive ambition I got from sports, the problem solving I got from technology, and the enjoyment of creativity I have received from video games to build successful programs, workforce, and community.I will not just put my skills on a pedestal, as it has also been thanks to an amazing network of mentors, partners, businesses, and a strong support system, especially from those I have received from Wells Fargo, Showdown Entertainment, and the Esports Trade Association.
