Managed the daily activities within a 150K sq ft manufacturing plant, encompassing 6 departments consisting of 30 associates and 5 supervisors with an estimated inventory value of 120MIL. Responsible for revenue forecasting, budget compliance, KPI's, CAPA's, RCCA's, scheduling and planning, employee hiring, firing, training/development, evaluations, compensation and contract labor management. Maintained an average monthly KPI metric of 99.1% accuracy. Analyzed and provided data for contract negotiations. Developed and implemented SOP's using VSM based on Lean/5S practices. Worked to implement an internal WMS system. Effectively liaise with IBM Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory and CIO teams to ensure a perfect customer service was delivered

Manage all daily activities surrounding the distribution division of the warehouse with 8 direct reports. This includes, but is not limited to, daily shipments, employee work assignments, employee attendance, operating procedures, order accuracy, process improvement, performance management, 5S and OSHA practices and budget compliance. Ship an average of 2500 items a day. Work with the Transportation, Accounting, Receiving and Purchasing Departments regarding shipment scheduling, customer service, product availability and forecasting.

Manage all inventory and other key warehouse responsibilities. Controlled an inventory consisting of about 16,000 sku’s, valued around 80 million dollars. Managed the RMA, Vendor Consignment (Domestic & International) and MRB (defective material) Departments, along with scheduling the shipments of Veeco systems; Domestic & International. Maintained an inventory accuracy level of 98.7%. Maintained a 99.8% RMA turnaround percentage. Coordinated the movement of defective material in and out of the warehouse. Responsible for generating cycle counts, investigating variances and submitting root cause analysis. Coordinated system shipments with numerous domestic and international freight forwarders. Appointed as a member of the WMS implementation team.

I was hired to create a working functional warehouse operation from the ground up. I had to organize and fill three warehouse storage rooms which now consist of about 1000 different semiconductor parts; a small portion of which are classified as "clean". I created a stocking location system so that I could implement Cycle Counting to eliminate the need for yearly inventories. I worked with SAP consultants to set the Cycle Count parameters and saw it through testing. I had to create forms and SOP's for my employees so that all warehouse functions would be carried out properly and have documentation. I am involved in the Veeco 5S program for safety and cleanliness. I oversee and handle all daily warehouse functions. This includes picking, shipping (domestic and international, standard and freight), scheduling pickups, processing all shipments in SAP, Cycle Counting, repackaging, relabeling, dispositioning defective devices, controlling defective device inventory, working with Quality Inspect group for product evaluation and release, controlling Vendor Consignment stock, coordinating inventory shipments and systematic movements from multiple warehouse storage facilities, operating forklifts, working with vendors, planners and project managers to ensure system backorders and replacement parts are delivered in a timely fashion so as not to delay tool shipments to our customers.I now have extensive experience with SAP PRD and QAS. I perform trouble shooting and am a resource for other employees of Veeco having SAP issues and/or questions.

Manage daily operations of warehouse with a staff of 22 direct reports. These operations included shipping, receiving (Domestic and International), picking, packing, returns, repackaging/relabeling, inventory control and cycle counting. Responsible for 10 million dollars of inventory divided among 18,000 class 1 surgical instruments among which 200 are Class 2 lot controlled devices. Shipping an average of 450 orders a day consisting of 3,000 line items, the intent of this position is to maintain a high fill rate and low back order rate in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
